Metal Master(s)

Boutsen (с которым они прежде успели поработать в рамках популярного проекта 80-х Off, а затем – в начале 90-х – Mosaic и The Odyssee of Noises, и который уже упоминался год назад в моём блоге со своими великолепными трансовыми детищами Cygnus X и Brainchild на Eye Q).

Mike Edwards).

The (Double J) Remix is incredible!!!

Do you know anymore classic trance
that uses a breakbeat?

DurMan комментирует...

Honestly speaking, I'm not very deep into the broken beat, preferring the straight one =)

But of course this rhythm structures were often used in Trance music.

Check the famous Outburst track by Earth Nation (imho, one of the brightest examples from the mid 90s!).

Or the Cosmic Baby's material released at the same period (Fourteen Pieces)...

British scene is also traditionally strong in Breakbeat, you know: Salt Tank - Wavebreaks is among my favorites, too!

The last, but not the least: I can recommend the amazing LSG's double CD by Oliver Lieb - The Best of L.S.G. – The Singles Reworked, 2004. The first disc of this tribute compilation contains wonderful downtempo/breakbeat remixes of his classic themes:

Hey, I have to say you really know your stuff. :-)

Those albums are exactly the kind of music I search for.

I have Fourteen Pieces. Traume & Funkfiction II are my favorites on that album....

as for L.S.G., I have the Singles Reworked and The Best of the Original Mixes. Both have the break beats that I love. Wavebreaks I have as well, not as good as LSG or
cosmic baby though.

thanks for reminding me about
Earth Nation -Outburst. I found it on youtube but forgot all about it.

Most peoples I ask only mention the real famous ones like
O.B.E - Rabbit in the Moon
Papua New Guinea, or all the tracks
that ended up on the Northern Exposure Series or the Hooj Choons
tracks.

One gem I found recently is:
Effective Force - Diamond Bullet
on the MFS label from 1991.

If you remember any 90's era Classic Trance or Techno! even
with breaks.. please mention =)

Cool that we have a similar taste in this kind of Trance+Breaks sounding! :)

I've heard the Diamond Bullet by Effective Force at the famous X-Mix-1 - The MFS-Trip compilation (mixed by PvD), of course!

Beautiful tune, indeed!

Don't you have the complete CD-Maxi? I mean this one:

As for the Ralf Hildenbeutel's amazing Outburst track - you can find it in FLAC format @ our torrents, where the 2nd Earth Nation's studio album is presented, check the following link:

Besides that, I've uploaded the "Live" version special for you, taken from my own 12":

The vinyl itself will be reviewed in my blog a bit later, probably in a couple of months.

Also my strongest recommends for 2 older Techno examples from the very beginning of the 90s, where the breakbeat elements were skillfully used, as well:

Konzept - Condemn Me (both parts),

New Scene - The Whale and Machine...

These are my all time favorites, regardless of the style! =)

& Thanks for your great recommendations for "Konzept - Condemn Me "

& "New Scene - The Whale.

I especaially love "Konzept's - Condemn Me "

Can you List all the songs similar to "Konzept - Condemn Me " that you know?

Breakbeat Techno or Breakbeat Trance.

Thanks , iTunes...

There are much more examples of such a Breakbeat sounding, of course! Although I'm not so deep into that, as it already said... ;)

I'm totally into the music of the 80s at the moment, as U can see, and even the new blogsite is started by this reason: http://prototrance.blogspot.com/

But you can surely find a lot of EBM/Electro trax in the 80s which have a typical broken beats...

The nearest example, from FFM, again: Moskwa TV, a Talla 2XLC famous Synth-pop/Electro project (with their first album'85, especially)!

+ C.C.C.P. - American-Soviets (Instrumental version) is also strongly recommended by me! :)
